TERRY PADDY BSc, ACIS

Terry entered the Royal New Zealand Air Force University Cadetship Scheme in 1977 and graduated with a Bsc in mathematics in 1980. He spent 10 more years in the RNZAF in training and management positions as a pilot.

He left the RNZAF and joined Ansett New Zealand, a first level domestic airline in 1989 and flew with them as a Line Pilot, Instructor and Civil Aviation Flight Examiner until 1999. Terry maintained interest in computer science from his university days and while employed full time still managed to produce a Travel Agency Management System, some specific Roster Systems, an Aero Club Booking and Payment System and a Customer Database System. Terry qualified in 2003 (by examination) as a Chartered Company Secretary and Administrator (ACIS), is a member of the New Zealand institute of Directors and is on the executive committees of the New Zealand Software Association and Canterbury Software Incorporated Terry's role in the Bootstrap team is system design, project management, marketing and training.
